More than half a decade ago, Ellen R Apps (Ellen Red) was exposed to reading source code due to her work related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Over the last half-decade, she has developed software programs mainly for her own and family use. Some of her software programs are now available to the public via Microsoft Store and GitHub.

In addition to software development, over the last few years, Ellen R Apps has ventured into the field of robotics — currently working on an autonomous aerial vehicle project and other random DIY robotics projects.
